Through explorations in human interactions with each other, science, and our environment, Walton explores micro and macro environments of life cycles, nature, and attraction within the human existence.
Walton holds an MFA from American University and has shown her work nationally and internationally. Her work has been shown at Daneyal Mahmood Gallery, Sloan Fine Art New York, NY; Transformer Gallery, (e)merge Art Fair, Washington Project for the Arts, and Katzen Art Center Washington, DC: Pierre Menard Gallery, Cambridge, MA; Aqua Art Fair Miami , FL and Pyramide Studio Rome, Italy. She has been awarded several grants and residencies at Vermont Studio Center, Chautauqua Institution, and Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center. She was selected as a semi-finalist for the Trawick Prize in 2012. She has been published in several catalogs along with numerous articles. Her work is held in several private collections.
